Come prepared to work on your LinkedIn account… I will be set up by 8:40 to review your LinkedIn Profile if you’d like a quick assessment.  YOUR “follow-up HOMEWORK” is to increase your first level contact list on LinkedIn by TEN NEW individuals… and add ONE NEW GROUP to those you have already chosen.

 Who should attend Thursday’s workshop?

  1. Those who might ask… HOW do I get more benefit from my ‘digital footprint?’
  2. Those seeking a systematic, focused, more predictable way to perform well in their job search;
  3. “Regulars” who need a ‘booster shot.’… and bring a guest;
  4. New Comers and tire kickers… this is a great session to supplement your job search effectiveness with!

Both regular participants and new comers are encouraged to partner up with at least one other person… then call or email Bob to schedule a block of time for some personalized attention tomorrow morning.

If you don’t have a partner but would like one… start a DISCUSSION in our LinkedIn Group and request one or COMMENT on anyone else’s request.

Call or email Bob to schedule your personal block of time…for you and your ‘accountability partner’ to meet with YOUR Careerpilot regarding…

  • Acountability Teaming, or…
  • Practice of specific skills, or…
  • Resolving specific implementation issues, or…
  • Personal Market Plan Development

Any or all of the above is fair game, but you must schedule with at least a partner (2-4 person teams will be scheduled).  Your partner can be a guest or other new comer… FIRST Timers are encouraged to participate!

Simply make your request as a new discussion item in our LinkedIn Group:  DFWCareerpilot … or as a COMMENT to another individual request.  Remember, this is all about INTERACTION as a focal point of your career transition efforts!

SCHEDULE ALERT: Next Weekly Meeting is Thursday, June 21 at The Egg and I

With apology, I mis-spoke at our meeting yesterday morning. Due to a scheduling conflict with our room at The Egg and I, we must adjust.  Also, please check the “Plan Ahead” tab above… this puts us in line for meeting the Thursday after July 4th… does this create problems for anyone?  We’ll discuss at our workshop Next week, Thursday, June 21: IMPLEMENTING YOUR PMP In the summer months.
